Interview with a vampire

When I first read the book of The Interview with a Vampire I was very interested in the main character ouis de Pointe du Lac. In the beginning, we see how Louis lives in Louisiana, and was the owner of a plantation with his mother and brother.

Later we can see how Louis moved to New Orleans, from the tragic death of his brother. Louis wanted to die, but then found a certain person named Lestat who offered him a life forever. Louis accepted the proposal and began the Conversion to a vampire, Louis was full of guilt, for the death of his brother. That makes me think how the guilt can lead to impulsive decisions that you can regret later.

Anne Rice creates an unconventional famiy of 2 men and a daughter called Claudia . She is an little eternal girl, of five years that will be a witness that immortality is not for everyone, because it is complex and above all painful. It is a woman trapped in the body of a girl.
It makes me think about the possibility of living infinitely but also having the curse of
life forever. The paradox of life and immortality are opposites. The opposite personalities of the characters Louis and Lestat make me understand the dark world that is seen from the perspective of vampires.

Louis and Claudia travel to europe where they found there are other vampires. The other vampires that teach them about the life of vampires and the origin of their species.
The book has different characters such as Luis, who likes his humanity is capable
to feel like a human, is depressed, melancholic existentialist. You can also see his humanity because he decides to feed on rats instead of humans. Lestat, who turns Louis into a Vampire, is a vampire without feelings, arrogant and egocentric, uninhibited, everything he does for his own benefit.

Hobbit

I liked this book a lot because it does not have the typical hero  that you can  find  in the movie or books. Bilbo, a person who at first looks scared cowardly, manages to help the dwarves and take them to the sacred mountain. In the book, Bilbo's personality is growing and becoming more solid. In the end, he returns to his region after an unexpected trip, with a treasure of a trip and experiences with the dwarves. The book tells how Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit who lives in a region enjoys the comfort of his home, but embarks on an adventure with a company of magician Gandalf. He convinces him to leave his home with some dwarves in search of the ancient kingdom of Dwarves Erebor and Solitary Mountain. There lies a Dragon that does not allow anyone to enter. In the book, several adventures are covered, the dwarves and Bilbo must overcome different challenges. Among the different adventures, Bilbo finds a magic ring that will be the beginning of the trilogy of the Lord of the Rings.

transmetropolitan

Spider Jerusalem lives in a love-hate relationship with the people of the city. The city if a futuristic cyberpunk. his is a strong and different character, he is not the typical character that you can find in some other book. In this comic one can find what is cyberpunk.  the effect that technology will influence us in the future. when can also see who the middle class will be involved with technology, and how it is to live in a big city in the future.  One of Spider's characteristics is his rebellion against things. when I was rearing the comic i feel like spider did not care about anything. when The story starts when Spider was in alone in the mountains talking to someone. This part for me make was confusing because at that time I did not see any signs of cyberpunk until he enters the city. The character will introduces us to the city. Cyberpunk often serves as a metaphor for current concerns about the effects and control of corporations over people, the corruption of governm

Burpy

Burpy who lived on another planet and would invade Earth. For him, it was a place full of abominable creatures. He did not know the earth, it was what his father who know the earth. All that the father thinks of planet earth,  the abominable creatures, was making burpy fell the same way at his father.  this makes me think how our parent affects our way of thinking. Burpy landed in a forest. When he touched the earth soil, Burpy was filled with a feeling of immense joy, for Earth was quite like his planet. After walking a bit, exploring the area, he saw a creature laughing, hanging from what he thought was a tree. This creature was quite similar to those of your planet but more beautiful. After communicating with the creature, he managed to learn his language. Burpy explained his mission and the creature answered all his questions. Burpy lost all interest in invading the Earth and understood that the creatures there were not abominable. Actually, they looked a lot like your plan
