Electrifying game

In this story, I read how a video game can affect a child. The author described describes in a simple way what may be the immersion in virtual reality. Daniel, a child who is a fan of video games. Once he picked up a machine that was damaged by virtual reality and without knowing what I'm playing. He saw a ray of blue light that led him to be inside a game, in which squared figures and towers with bright colors appeared floating  He also noticed that there were plants, that when you touched you shot darts that pointed to darkness, light, green circles and doors that opened, bridges that you had to cross. But Daniel concentrated, jumped and jumped until he achieved the goal.
When he opened his eyes again, he was on the floor looking at the roof of the store. There were many people around him examining him.
Daniel had received an electric shock when he scanned the broken machine.
Everyone believed that it had been a painful experience, but Daniel felt that this had been the adventure of his life.

Daniel had unique experiences with squared figures, colored towers. darts, etc. They are realities, illusions in real times and that allow the player who interacts with that world, with realities created in that virtual world. It is a reality that can be perceived but not touched.

transmetropolitan

Spider Jerusalem lives in a love-hate relationship with the people of the city. The city if a futuristic cyberpunk. his is a strong and different character, he is not the typical character that you can find in some other book. In this comic one can find what is cyberpunk.  the effect that technology will influence us in the future. when can also see who the middle class will be involved with technology, and how it is to live in a big city in the future.  One of Spider's characteristics is his rebellion against things. when I was rearing the comic i feel like spider did not care about anything. when The story starts when Spider was in alone in the mountains talking to someone. This part for me make was confusing because at that time I did not see any signs of cyberpunk until he enters the city. The character will introduces us to the city. Cyberpunk often serves as a metaphor for current concerns about the effects and control of corporations over people, the corruption of go...

Hobbit

I liked this book a lot because it does not have the typical hero  that you can  find  in the movie or books. Bilbo, a person who at first looks scared cowardly, manages to help the dwarves and take them to the sacred mountain. In the book, Bilbo's personality is growing and becoming more solid. In the end, he returns to his region after an unexpected trip, with a treasure of a trip and experiences with the dwarves. The book tells how Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit who lives in a region enjoys the comfort of his home, but embarks on an adventure with a company of magician Gandalf. He convinces him to leave his home with some dwarves in search of the ancient kingdom of Dwarves Erebor and Solitary Mountain. There lies a Dragon that does not allow anyone to enter. In the book, several adventures are covered, the dwarves and Bilbo must overcome different challenges. Among the different adventures, Bilbo finds a magic ring that will be the beginning of the trilogy of the Lord of th...

The mirror and the bell

The reading of  The Mirror and the Bell  makes me reflect on negative emotions such as fear, anguish, anger, and jealousy that keep a person in a state of suffering because he does not release them. These emotions are represented in the story of the reading by the farmer's wife's mirror. For the farmer's wife, the mirror represented the tradition of her family. Her attachment to that tradition did not let her go to make a bell. The process of replacing the mirrors with the bell is important. The life is a mirror that shows us our attachments like money and people, that help us progress. We must seek to detach ourselves and find emotions of generosity, of help, and that seek a common good. This is present in the story, by the community who was very happy to collaborate with the bell, and how generously they detached themselves from their mirrors. These feelings of guilt of donating the family mirror, led the farmer's wife to take her own life and cursed the bell, so...
